200–250 · 224 characters

350–500 · 352 characters
RO.CAFE is where Roland puts the work and the notes on one table. Brews are the public notes. The Lab links six live sites. The Menu lists tools he says are in use, and empty slots stay marked not set. Ask is a 60-minute diagnosis at the price printed on that page. English and Chinese share the same URLs. Room 2 of the Lounge is open. Room 1 is full.
600–900 · 725 characters
RO.CAFE, also called Roland's Digital Cafe, is the public site of Roland, an independent developer working on AI products and how they get found. Brews hold the notes. One essay is dated 5 Nov 2026; other notes on that index are still labeled placeholder, and the members-only note says subscription and payment are not connected. The Lab is six public sites: PokerJudge, ChainEpic, NewName.ai, ListYourGame, Find China Care, and ByteData.ai. Each project page has screenshots and a link out. The Menu is the tools in use. Ask is 60 minutes, voice or video, at $150 through Stripe, with the time locked by email within one business day. The page says the hour is a diagnosis, not code, a training day, or an on-site engineer.

RO.CAFE is Roland's Digital Cafe, the public table for an independent developer working on AI products and global growth. English and Chinese share the same URLs. Brews are the notes. The essay dated 5 Nov 2026 is written out. Other notes on that index are still labeled placeholder, and the members-only note says subscription and payment are not connected. The Lab lists six public sites, each with a short note, screenshots, and a live link: PokerJudge, ChainEpic, NewName.ai, ListYourGame, Find China Care, and ByteData.ai. The Menu is four cabinets of tools the site says are in use. An empty slot says not set. Ask is one hour to settle a direction, priced at $150 through Stripe, in US dollars, for voice or video. You name the topic and two times. Payment does not lock the calendar. Email confirms a time within one business day, or the hour is refunded. The page calls it a diagnosis, not code, a training day, or an on-site engineer, and not a Chinese VAT invoice. A heavier job is quoted separately. The Lounge is two WeChat groups. Room 2 is open: user group or merchant group, not both. Room 1 is full. Apply gives no review-time number and no automatic approval.
All five sit inside the requested bands. They stop where the public pages stop. No user count, funding figure, press quote, or partner list was added to fill a band. The heavier-engineering floor of ¥50,000 a month is on the Ask page and is kept under Feature Highlights, so the long description does not repeat it.
Feature Highlights
- Notes at /brews. The essay dated 5 Nov 2026 is written out. Other notes on that index are labeled placeholder. The members-only note says subscription and payment are not connected.
- Lab: PokerJudge, ChainEpic, NewName.ai, ListYourGame, Find China Care, and ByteData.ai. Each project page has a short note, screenshots, and the live URL.
- Menu: four cabinets of tools the site says are in use. An empty slot says not set. Outbound links leave through this site.
- Ask: $150, 60 minutes, voice or video, US dollars through Stripe. The page says it does not issue a Chinese VAT invoice. The hour is a diagnosis and an architecture review. It does not include writing code, a training day, or an on-site engineer. Email confirms one of the two times within one business day, or the hour is refunded. A forward-deployed engineer is named from ¥50,000 a month only if that heavier work is actually required.
- Lounge: Room 2 is open for product trials and affiliate, split into a user group and a merchant group. One person does not join both. Room 1 is full. The product has to be legal, with a working affiliate program. One introduction of your own product per person, each month.
- A weekly note can go to an inbox from Join the Table. The mail has an unsubscribe link.
- English and Chinese share the URLs. The header switch sets a cookie. There is no /zh path.
Value Props
- The note and the live site are linked from the same table.
- The hour says what it will not do before anyone pays.
- The group rules are on the page before the form.
- Placeholder notes and empty tool slots stay labeled.
Popular Use Cases
- Read a note or a Lab page before writing to Roland.
- Book the hour when the stuck question is one of the four printed on /ask: where AI saves money, a first version, how the models are wired, or a demo that will not hold.
- Apply for the user group, or submit a product to the merchant group. Both forms are public. Neither one showed a login gate on 6 Nov 2026.
- See which tools the sites run on, including the slots still marked not set.
How it works
- 1. Open ro.cafe. The first visit follows the browser language. After that, the header switch stores ro-lang.
- 2. Brews, Lab, Menu, Lounge, Ask, and About are the public rooms.
- 3. Ask: name the one thing, offer two times, and pay the price on the button. The page says payment does not lock the calendar. The form's own errors require 40 to 500 characters, two times at least 24 hours ahead and within 60 days, and at least 30 minutes apart.
- 4. Apply and pitch are read by Roland. A no does not always get a reply. Neither page prints a review duration.
- 5. The weekly brew is one emailed note. Unsubscribe from the mail.

Missing
- Profile avatar. Missing. Next size: 400×400. The about portrait is a 760×760 photo, not this export.
- Open Graph / social card. Missing. Next size: 1200×630. app/layout.tsx sets a description and no image.
- X profile banner. Missing. Next size: 2048×900. The X account exists. A banner file does not.

Website screenshots
Headless Chrome, 1440×900, logged out, 6 Nov 2026. No cookie bar was present, so none was closed. English shots used cookie ro-lang=en. These are captures of the public pages, not designed social cards.

Launch Video
Missing. No MP4, MOV, or WebM is in the repository. There is no player on this page. The script and storyboard below are the brief, not a film.
30 seconds, 16:9, 1920×1080. Frame rate is not written on the site. Do not export a master until a rate is chosen. A 30 fps export would be a production default, not an existing file. Poster frame: the first beat. That still is also missing, at 1920×1080. Captions and a Chinese voice track are not produced. The Chinese spoken lines are in 中文素材.

Video Clips Assets
- Logo motion. Missing. No motion file. It would depend on /brandpack/coffee-mark.svg. Do not treat the storyboard as this clip.
- Lab walkthrough. Missing. No capture. The Lab screenshots are stills only.
- Ask explanation. Missing. No capture. The Ask screenshot is a still only.
The Creative Rule
Voice: first person on the about page, specific, and short. If a note is still a placeholder, say so. Do not add a metric to make a sentence longer.
Logo: use the cup outline in /brandpack/coffee-mark.svg, or the cup as it is drawn in components/coffee-mark.tsx. Do not redraw it. Do not recolor the third-party icons inside the live cup and call them the cafe logo. Do not lock the cup up with a partner mark. None is approved. Leave clear space around the cup at least the width of the lid stroke. The wordmark stays the words RO.CAFE, not a stretched image. Do not use /favicon.ico.
You can say: the six site names, the $150 hour, the 60 minutes, Stripe in US dollars, no Chinese VAT invoice, the diagnosis limits, the one-business-day email, the refund if the two times fail, Room 2 open and Room 1 full, the group rules printed on /lounge, and that English and Chinese share URLs.
Recheck before repeating: the price in lib/ask.ts and on /ask, whether a real card payment completes, which Brews are still placeholders, and whether Room 1 is still full. The ¥50,000 floor is a separate engagement, not the price of the hour.
Platform Template References
Fill-in templates. Replace [company] before posting. They have not been published. X exists as @chainepic. Threads, LinkedIn, and YouTube are Not created, so those uses of the lines below are templates only.
X / Threads
[company] keeps the notes, the live sites, and the tools on one table. One hour is priced on the page, with the limits written next to it. https://ro.cafe
LinkedIn / YouTube description
[company] is Roland's public cafe for AI products and global growth. Notes, six sites in the Lab, a menu of tools in use, two WeChat rooms, and a 60-minute diagnosis. Price and scope are on https://ro.cafe/ask. This is a template. No LinkedIn or YouTube channel is listed on the site.
Workflow Ideas
- 1. Post a finished note on X. Depends on a Brew whose body is actually written, its URL, and the @chainepic account. Does not need a banner. Skip any note the index still calls a placeholder.
- 2. Introduce one Lab site. Depends on that project's screenshot and the summary already on its /lab page. Do not add a claim that page does not make.
- 3. Point someone to the hour. Depends on the current /ask price, the 60-minute line, and the exclusions on that page. Recheck both before posting. No video file exists, so send the link as text.
Accuracy Guardrails
- Do not invent users, revenue, funding, press quotes, awards, or partners.
- Do not invent a social account, a QR code, or a video and then link to it.
- The hour is $150 on the page checked 6 Nov 2026. The page shows a Stripe pay button. This pack did not complete a payment, so it does not say that checkout succeeded.
- Apply and pitch do not print a review duration. Do not add one. A no does not always get a reply.
- ¥50,000 a month is the floor named for a forward-deployed engineer, only if that heavier work is required. It is not the price of the hour.
- Members-only notes do not have a working payment. The Brews page says so.
- The cup's inner icons belong to other brands. Do not present them as cafe badges or as partnerships.
- A storyboard, a script, and a screenshot are not a finished video or a social card.
- 1. 打开 ro.cafe。
肖像仍是 /about/roland.jpg,没有另做一张中文版。

Missing.
- 0:26–0:30. 从 ro.cafe 开始。
